Retrieving Errant Equipment

Are you missing any backboards or other equipment after an Airlift Northwest transport? If you've commissioned them into service somewhere in King County, chances are you'll find them, along with hundreds of others, in the Equipment Closet adjacent to the Emergency Department at Harborview Medical Center. Because there are so many, and you are so close, Airlift Northwest requests that you pick up stray equipment the next time you deliver a critically ill or injured patient to Harborview Medical Center.

EMS units operating outside King County may, however, find their errant equipment delivered by Airlift Northwest on a return flight basis. The key to retrieving any piece of equipment is to make sure it is clearly labeled with your organization's name, address and telephone number. The initials of your organization alone is not adequate information.
